In 1974, lifelong Savannah residents Adolph Vickery and son, Larry Vickery saw a need for a discount flooring dealer to offer Savannah area residents exceptional value in flooring at an affordable rate. Thus began Vickery Carpet, Savannah's original Discount Flooring Warehouse. Located for many years on Rowland Avenue, the Vickery family kept their warehouse stocked full of carpeting, vinyl and other flooring products.
